Long-term Sea Level Rise is a Threat to Our Community

Local homeowners can help

The East River Marsh in Guilford and Madison is one of the most ecologically important salt marshes on the Long Island Sound, and among the most vulnerable to long-tern sea level rise.

As an important marsh stakeholder, we hope you will register for our virtual forum to learn about our community’s options in the face of a rising sea.

Ultimately, we can help you understand:

  • Where the marsh begins/ends on your property.

  • The types of marsh vegetation you have, or need

  • How your property can help marsh migration
